The Church In Crisis
Right now, Stacy is blogging about the same thing I am about to bring to you. I don’t know what she is writing, but I feel this issue is too important to not comment on it. You can check out her post by clicking here.
This afternoon, I read a blog post by Ed Stetzer, Director of LifeWay Research, titled “Breaking News.” In this post, he addresses some very real and crisis causing problems within the Southern Baptist Convention. As with Mr. Stetzer, I love the Southern Baptist Convention for its missions work, humanitarian work, and many other things that make Southern Baptists who we are. However, we, as with many other Christian denominations, are part of a Church in crisis.
I will not make commentary on this article, other than to say that I fully agree with everything Mr. Stetzer has written in it. Please go to www.edstetzer.com, read the article titled “Breaking News,” and then put into action a plan for the Church, and I mean the Church universal, to become the Church that God intended.
